An original play written by a great friend of mine, Spencer Watson. After completing our fellowship at The Utah Shakespeare Festival, we found ourselves terribly bored (full time school and work wasn't enough apparently). Through SUU's generous black box program, we were able to produce 2 successful performances. The plot examines the philosophical paradox of an artist's freedom to produce what they want in contrast with their responsibility to society for their art. A fantastically fun project to put together with friends, and a great reminder of how empowering it is to produce your own work.
