The character of Audrey is quite an interesting one. Is she truly empty headed, or is she actually incredibly smart? Knowing exactly how to push and pull Touchstone into her grip. This is something I love about Shakespeare. He puts such purpose in even his smallest of characters. I truly believe that, when it comes to his text, one is never done searching for meaning and metaphor.
